By Georgia Gist
Georgia Gist lives in Kentucky and has been painting watercolors for many years. On a visit to the Frontier Culture Museum, she started her first series of paintings that actually began as a class project. “The Bowman House” is a painting of our 1820s farmhouse. The painting depicts the house so well and gives it a nice lived in feel with chickens in the yard and quilts hanging off the front porch. Each print is matted and measures 16”x20”.
